Once upon a time, about two months ago now, Brandon, Ezra and I went to Oklahoma to visit with Nan and Peeps and the rest of the family. We took a whole bunch of pictures and then I never posted them, because I'm lazy. I could spin an excuse, but I'm too lazy to even do that. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, here are those pictures!

I realize Christmas pictures are ridiculously overdue. I did make a concerted effort to get them up tonight (we are going to Oklahoma to visit Nan and Peeps tomorrow, and I knew if I didn't get Christmas taken care of and I added a bunch of new trip pictures, I would be overwhelmed and nothing would ever get posted), but I had a series of technical difficulties with the computer and blah blah blah. Long story short, I got them uploaded and resized, but it is now after midnight and I don't have time to post them. I gotta sleep for the flight and whatnot. However, when I DO get around to posting them, it will be easy because they're ready to go. So, soon. Hopefully as soon as we get back. Maybe sooner if I have access to a computer and an hour to myself in Oklahoma. We'll see. Here are a couple of videos I managed to get uploaded, by way of a peace offering:

Well, two years ago at this very moment I was either enjoying an exhausted but short-lived sleep, involved in a painful and frustrating nursing session, or blissed out to be in the presence of my new baby. I can't believe the way time flies. I know it's been too long since I've updated and posted pictures, but I obviously couldn't let my little guy's birthday go by without posting. We haven't been taking as many pictures as usual lately, and since there haven't been any major events until now I'm afraid there hasn't been much to post. I do have a handful of pictures from Thanksgiving and the birthday festivities (such as they were), though, so I'll get those up now. I also have videos, but they'll have to wait. I'm tired!

Sorry all, I've been lazy. We went on a trip to Texas to attend a friend's wedding (actually, I was maid of honor... *nail shine*) two weeks ago, and I have still not posted pictures (as you may or may not have noticed). Brandon's parents and brother drove down from Tulsa to visit with us while we were there, and we stayed at Brandon's Aunt Martha's place and got to visit with her and meet her fiance (now husband... congrats, guys!). It was a great trip, and despite the unfortunate timing of hurricane Ike the wedding went well, we had a great time visiting with the family, and fun was had by all. Especially Ezra. Here are some pictures!

Hey all! Hope everybody had a great Fourth (or First, depending on your country of origin)! We had an extremely laid-back long weekend. We hung around the house, went to Gymboree, did some window shopping, that kind of thing. It was nice, though. And sure beats working! Here are some pictures.

Ezra did the most hilarious thing this afternoon. I had left the room for a minute, and when I came back he was sitting on the floor playing and seeming to be saying the words "no one" over and over again. It took me a second before I realized that he was actually singing! He was singing the song "no one" by Alicia Keys, which we hear on the radio all the time. It was hilarious.
So anyway, along with that heartwarming anecdote, I bring you pictures!

Just took a break from work to call and harangue another customer service rep at Picture People. This particular one at first tried to convince me that the pictures HAD been uploaded... in which case they must be invisible, because I do not see them on the site. After putting me on hold for quite a while, he came back and said I was right, they were not there. So my eyes DON'T deceive me. He said that a request HAD been put in for the pictures to be uploaded the first time I called (June 4), but for some reason that didn't happen, and rather than give me the same runaround about how they really WERE going to do it this time, he was going to escalate the issue and send it to a supervisor, who would be in touch with me either by phone or email today or tomorrow. How exciting! Grr.
You know what would be another interesting thing they could try? Just putting the effing pictures up on my site. That would work, too.

OK! So, I signed up with YouTube so I could upload longer videos. Here's that counting one I was talking about yesterday... it's kind of long, and likely extremely boring to anybody who is not related to this child (and, frankly, some who are). But it makes me feel all warm and fluttery and full of glee.

Here's a video of Ezra watching Sesame Street. It's actually one of our "Old School" Sesame Street DVD's... it's a split screen of two Bill Cosbys saying the alphabet. Brandon thinks it's funny when Ezra sits in this chair, "like a real person."
He always says "yay!" after "Z."
I had another one of him counting with Bert and Ernie, but Photobucket thinks it's too big to upload. Boo!
